    I recommend using bronze, not galvanized exhaust pipe & fittings. I
had a galvanized fitting break in '96 while under way off shore in a
calm (not too far, fortunately!) and we had to jury-rig a way to get the
exhaust water overboard but could not get the exhaust fumes overboard
well enough. Ended up with a terrible mess of soot in the whole boat.
