[Alberg30] Stainless Corrosion

Does anyone know a way to avoid crevise corrosion in stainless steel bolts going through a deck?
Once the corrosion starts, is there anyway to stop it, short of replacing the bolts? (I'm being cheap here, but want to be safe. the bolts in question hold my mast step to the deck. 1/2"D X ~6" long and definately show corrosion)
