[Alberg30] carburetor flooding

I've replaced every portion of the fuel system - as a result of carb
flooding - and I'm sure each piece was a valiant contributor to carb
flooding. What I've learned - and I concur - is that a little carb crud
goes a long way. One source that fails to receive the attention it sourly
seeks is the "pipe" that runs from the deck to the gas tank. Mine is a
wonderful metal tube - anytime you need some crud all you have to do is rub
your fingers along the inside of her or - of course- fuel up. I've yet to
replace this piece of pipe for fear my engine may wish to find some other
awful way to grab my attention - but for the time being I've not a smell of
gas other than when I give the pipe a rub or decide to put some fuel in.
Thank god for sails!
