[Alberg30] help

I followed Brian's directions and set the uppers to 850, the forward shrouds to about 500 and the back stay to around 650 and the mast is straight. Contrary to directions I did put some tension on the aft lowers - about 350. When I started the top of the mast took a jog to starboard, but when adjusted as indicated everything was straight. And, I finally got to sail the boat, and it is as good or better than expected. Yesterday, I found out that it moves well in very light wind. We went out last Friday in 15 knots and the rig was balanced, the stays did not sag to leward, and there was very little weather helm. I am really happy with my new fiberglass mistress. Chris, I hope what I have to share is helpful - even though it has taken some time for me to get to my e-mail to see what has been happening.

I tried to use these number when I launched two weeks ago . I have a 
question.. Using the loos gauge my mast has a wicked swoop to it when I 
set the tension on the fwd lowers equally, in order to make everything 
straight I need to increase one side to around 850#'s Is this pretty 
common or am I doing something assbackwards?   chris
