probably need a whole tube....or two. 5200 is great for this job.

You'll want two hose clamps on the stuffing box hose (two at each
end).  Given the shape of the hull, and the likelihood of caulk
sticking out when you put the tube back in place, I wouldn't
underestimate the length needed.  You want to clean out all the
old caulk that held the tube in place.  I recommend using 5200
for recaulking.  And you'll probably need a whole tube.
