In Step #6, you say that you cut the plexiglass to fit almost exactly. Most 
plastic manufacturers (plexiglass and polycarbonate/Lexan) recommend leaving 
perimeter space for expansion of the pane due to solar heat. A 24 inch length 
of plastic can expand 1/8 inch, so they recommend that expansion space of
