I use twings.  I mounted them approx. 12 inches aft of the aft lower.

Do any of you use twing lines to keep the pole down when flying a 
symmetrical spinnaker, or do you find that the foreguy is generally 
sufficient?

If you do use twings, at what longitudinal position do you place their 
fairleads?
