[Alberg30] Alberg30] Zinc Anode location

On some fresh water cooled engines the manufacturer designed the system with all the different metals separated by "O Rings".  This is true on the Yanmar 2GM series and some Volvos, probably the Perkins 4108 as well.  A caution about "adding" a zinc to these is the introduction of chunks of decomposing zinc to clog the water passages.  The safest approach would be to go to a shop that specializes in your engine and ask if it has one, if it doesn't  May I suggest leaving well enough alone?
