Gas Tank: If you still decide to sell the gas tank I'd be interested. I
take it is aluminum and approximately 18 gallons?

Marine Toilet: I'm installing a toilet with holding tank - I had
previously a portapotty that because of the perverse incentive of using
it - was rarely used. And, quite honestly, my guests were not that
comfortable using it knowing the joy of I had of maintaining it. Anyway
- the solution I took (I've not installed it yet - so I may be singing a
different song or asking Mike for an offline tutorial on persuasion
language) is a marine toilet made by titanusa - it has a fully
functioning head with a 5 gallon holding tank and y valve. The holding
tank is right behind your heels when you pay homage to the toilet - so
the install is very simple. All total the cost of shipping and purchase
is $470. You can, if permitted, dump directly overboard, to the holding
tank, pump out from the deck, pump out directly from the holding tank,
dump over board from the holding tank or lift the little sucker out of
the boat and dispose of the effluent. There are clear compromises
depending on whether you go with a much larger fabricated holding tank
under the v-birth or a sanipotty, but I think this one falls somewhere
in-between and I know my wife is completely thrilled, and I'm thrilled
my future honey-dipping days won't be so hands-on. Wish me luck - I'm
hoping to successfully install tomorrow.
