[Alberg30] Hull Painting / doing work yourself

Yves - I bought my Alberg last year and asked this list the same question 
about doing the work yourself.   I have found Don Casey's book "This Old 
Boat" very helpful with proven beatification and restoration techniques.  
Many people (including me) believe that you can do most of the work yourself 
(especially with the help of  this list).  For painting a hull  Mr. Casey 
recommends one person rolling paint on the hull while another person follows 
behind and "tips" the paint with a badger hair brush.  But more importantly 
there are many steps to ready the gel coat for painting.  I am planning on 
painting my hull next year with the dark green color of  the Cheoy Lee on 
the cover of "This Old Boat".
