[Alberg30] Twin Headstays

Hydraulic backstay adjusters also aren't class legal.  Yes, even 
mechanical backstay adjusters are not cheap.  That's why few cruising 
boats have them.  I wouldn't risk losing the rig with a marginal or 
experimental adjuster, however.
