[Alberg30] Living aboard in VA

Jamie,
I did it as geo-batchelor for a year at Quantico, VA...commuting to
Pentagon. My advice is great as a live aboard vessel for one, but might be
too cozy for 2. Also, I used a clubhouse nightly and it's full kitchen,
living room, and bathrooms w showers which meant Sunspur was just a floating
bed. If you commit, and I say try it for a while (can't beat the price
compared to area rent) then I'd echo comments available in previous threads
available at the public A30 site to include:
1. Invest in a quality forepeak bed.
2. Consider an oilfilled electric radiator for winter heat.
Contact me offline at richard.hansen2 at us.army.mil for additional info on
the scarcity of DC area marina's that allow live aboards.

Subject: [Alberg30] Living aboard in VA

I'm looking for anyone living aboard their Alberg in the MD/VA/DC area.
This is a possibility for my fiancee and I starting next year, and I'd like
to ask some questions. Also, if anyone wants to yell "No! No! Don't live
on an Alberg!" I'd love to hear why. :)

Jamie (and Jeannine)
