Bill,

Just a thought - if your hull read very high on an inductance moisture meter
and only around the ballast area -
It may be that the cast iron ballast is causing a false reading -
My hull has been out of the water for 2 + years and the area
around the ballast still goes "off the chart" with a meter -
You can see the effect that the iron has by holding a chunk
of metal behind a fiberglas panel than measures "dry".
