As the new owner of #475, I have found the forum to be particularly useful for dealing with some of my more urgent repair problems. I checked my rudder the other day and it seemed to have about a 1/4" of play in the shoe. Is this excessive or normal? Anyone have experience in repairing the shoe if a repair is warranted?
