[Public-list] Alberg 30 sail choice

I have a question about sail choice in different wind conditions. I have a 130% that has been cut down a bunch so I really don't know what it really is. I've also sailed with a 110% and I like the simplicity of the 110.

I am on the Texas coast and it blows 15-25 most of the time. I 've noticed that many of you talk more about reefing the main before going to a smaller head sail.

I guess what I am looking for are some general guidelines as to what headsail choice I should consider because I am getting ready to purchase a new head sail. I'm debating between a new 130% or a 110%. It will be on a furler and easily reefed.

I realize that the Alberg 30 is a masthead , low aspect ratio , rig. I believe that most of the power comes from the head sail on a mast head rig but the main is large as well.
