I have not raced in the Mac but you might want to check with the race
committee at Bay View Yacht Club;  I know they have some strick rules and
very strigent safety gear requirements.

My brothers and I are planning on racing in next year's Mackinaw Race.
I am wondering if anybody on the list has participated in this race or
another race of this distance and if he/she has any advice on gear, size
