Irene:
You might want to price a suit of sails from Triton Sails in Mississauga
Ontario, even though it is a long way from MD. They have made sails for
Alberg 30s since the beginning and make good quality sails, not like the Sri
Lankan North sails we now get from them. I tried North and am well pleased
with the 2 + 2 main but the foresails are a challenge to work with. Even
Towney had some difficulty with a new (Canadian made ) North 150 of mine. I
am not keen to buy another North but have had great pleasure from my Triton
foresails, a 130, and 170 and the bulldog spinnaker. Be as specific as you
can be though when it comes to ordering leach lines, battens and cars,
numbers stripes, and measurements of your rig. Our dollar has jumped against
yours so it is now at 84 cents. That has your currency discount at about 17%.
