Dave,

That says you have hull #22, built in 1964.  Note that the sail number 
may have been something different, as they commonly used the same sail 
numbers, but preceded with US or KC, in the US and Canada.

On such an early boat, maybe Whitby used brass.  Or maybe it's been 
replaced.  I don't know.
