Glad to hear it Gord - on mine the take out pipe only ran about 80% of the
way down, meaning that the lowest part of the tank appeared never to have
been suctioned out - I won't go into detail about the resulting hardened
matter and what it took to dig it out...Sounds like yours had a better
installer at work on the day your was out in...

Hi there -
I put a new top on my #426's tank this spring...the project was a complete
success. (Imagine my relief...)
I discovered that the company that made the plastic (lexan?) tops in Toronto
was not only still in business but still had the original patterns. They
made me a top plate for about $115 including shipping; it fit perfectly.
I used Sika Flex to bed in down, and fastened it with #12 Stainless Steel
self tapping screws.
