Roger,

After reading some of the other comments I suppose I will should send
you the templates. After the boat is out of the water I'll take the
lights out, make templates, and then send them to you if that's ok. It's
likely that #148 and #170 are the same but.....

As far as the cradle is concerned, because I never use a spinnaker (that
may be a little strange but then I might be also, or so some have
implied) I am thinking of mounting the base of the cradle on the bases
of the aft winches and just doing away with them for the time being. No
point in having them there if I never use them. This also eliminates the
need to mount anything to the deck; I don't like drilling holes in my
boat if I don't have to.

I'll let you know when I get the lights out.

I will contact my Lexan guy and confirm price and smoke.  Cost to UPS 10
pounds (guess) to Middletown is under $6.  Do you want to send me
templates
from your boat or have him use mine from #148?  All of my small and
large
lights are the same size.

I have not done a boom crutch but have thought of doing a folding one
(upside down V) with the legs resting on either the aft ends of the
cockpit
seats or the outside sides of the aft end of the cockpit sole.  Former
would
allow better access to the poop deck but may have stability problems.
Both
would impair access to lazarette.

I to would like to hear from those who have been there (since I, for
now, am
just a would like to go there guy ).
