[Public-list] PVC pipe

I hope Roger doesn't think this is heresy, but I'm thinking of using PVC
pipe on the boat. Specifically, I'm thinking of using PVC in the
sanitary plumbing so that I can use sweep elbows instead of 90 elbows.
All connections to the PVC would be through hose, to prevent problems
with rigid connections.

I'm thinking, from the head, hose to a hose barb mounted to a PVC sweep
elbow, a short length of PVC schedule 40 to another PVC sweep elbow and
another hose barb, and hose from there to the 90 elbow into the holding
tank. From the holding tank outlet, hose to a PVC sweep elbow, short
length of schedule 40 to a sweep elbow with a cleanout port. From the
elbow upward, a piece of schedule 40 to a hose barb and then hose from
that to the deck pumpout. From the cleanout port, a hosebarb, then hose
to the macerator pump.

Why should I not do this?
