Good question, can be expensive. The frames on #114 were in that situation
falling apart in my hands upon removal. I had choices which I choose to have
them made from 1/4 inches 316 Stainless Plate which was laser cut. In
addition also had the shop make chain plates from the remaining stock. I
owned the Cad/Cam for these unfortunately the shop has gone out of business.
The other option is other metals or bronze.

What have you folks done in the past if the frames are
beyond salvage? The repair page I read (very helpful
and explicit) assumed good frames.
