[Public-list] Ice in the Bilge

I had a drain plug put in at the bottom of the bilge that I pull each winter - b/c of flooding concerns. One very useful aspect of the old gray marine engine (may it RIP) was that it gave ample supplies of high viscous fluids to the bilge to keep it from freezing and to insure the bilge smelled just right.
