Gord,
Two things...
1. if the top is feld down by pop rivets, it is probably leaking throught
the holes in the center of the rivets.
2. The compond that Whitby used was some sort of grey stuff that hardened
and then start to leak.
The only success that was to remove the top, clean it up and rebed the whole
thing. Unfortunately to cabinetry needs to come out of the forward cabin. It
can come out as a single unit, but it's not easy.

Hi there -
A few years ago some-one on the list put me in touch with the operation in
Toronto who still had patterns for the factory tank tops in liner A30's.
I got one and fitted it. It works fine but I am having trouble with tiny
leaks that keep developing. It seems that my problem is the material the
top is made of which neither 3M5200 nor Sikaflex seems to adhere to.
Has anyone had success with a caulking compound other than those...or can
some-one remind me who I bought the thing from? They might have a
suggestion.
Other than that - just home from a nine day cruise up the coast - wonderful
but too short.
