Hi Randy: Re your query re reefpoints I spoke to Dave Miller of North Sails
in Vancouver and he said he used  11, 24 and 37 as percentages of the luff
or the distance down the mast which is a different way than your way. Taking
into account the sail does not go to bottom of the mast, then your use of
the 50 percent figure seemed excessive to him. and he suggested the use of
the lesser figure and then go to your storm trisail for the average
