Has anyone tried a treatment like this? (Sounds better than Desitin. :-)

To add a new element to this discussion--almost two years ago during
haulout I used the Petit underwater metal treatment kit on our prop,
shaft, and strut, which normally are very foul within a few months of
launch. I dove the boat in Sept. and was amazed at the lack of growth,
even on the prop, and the boat has had a fair amount of use. There was
a layer of slime, similar to the rest of the hull, and maybe two or
three tiny barnacles that popped right off. We live in NC so it's
pretty warm here. The treatment consists of a standard zinc chromate
etch wash, an epoxy metal primer, and in my case Trinidad SR antifouling
paint, which always gives us two seasons' use. Phillip.
