Ours came (from the prior owner) mounted on the starboard bulkhead.  The
bottom of the the table rests on the top of the seat in front of the
cushion.  The top is held in place by two L shaped pieces of teak bolted
to the bulkhead.  The teak pieces swivel horizontally to release the
table and vertically to hold the table.

It means giving up a fair bit of bulkhead space, but it is very easy to
stow and break out.  I find I use the table a lot more than I would if
it were all the way up in the V-Berth overhead.
