Michael Connolly asked:

"What do boats do where the tide range is fifteen feet?"

When I was a kid and summering at Harbourville on the Bay of Fundy with its
45 to 60 foot tides, what visitors did was tie up at high tide and not allow
any slack.

It made for some pretty humorous sights when the tide went out and the
harbour bottom was nothing but damp mud!

(Nothing like that shown here, but it's still pretty.
