I have been using Haarstick sails for the past few years and have found
that the Mainsail they made for me has lasted beautifully. They have a
sail special going on right now and are offering a discount if you are
interested. Also they are relatively nearby in rochester. Not China like
most sailmakers these days.

I have a littl article coming out in the class mainsheet this next month
that talks about sails and purchasing. I suggest that as a good little
piece of rading.
Consider the quality of the cloth, the cost as well as the cut in all of
your factors. I believe that thoug Haarstick charges a little more for
their sails they are the best sails made with excellent cloth,
craftsmanship and cut.
