Subject: Traditional Hardware? (to Gordon)

Gordon,
I'm glad you mentioned that you are into Traditional Hardware (I forgot). I've been looking for a "horse" and "traveller link" for my self tending, club boomed, staysail on my Landfall 39 Cutter (same as Vagabond 39 Cutter). When I bought her, she had a two sheet set up (like a standard jib). Since it's usually just my wife and me sailing, I went through the process of setting up a self tending arrangement. Instead of fitting a transverse traveller, I just installed a single point mid-ship. This works sort of OK, but I'm getting way too much twist when sailing to weather. Instead of going with a modern style traveller, I would much rather install a horse and link.
Do you deal in such things? Should I go through my pile of catalogs and find the two you sent me earlier this year?
Most modern riggers that I've asked, have tilted their heads to the side and said "What's a Horse?" I assume you know what I'm talking about.
Regards and thanks,
