George, Yes, I have checked the shaft and it turns easily while in neutral. I also adjusted the shifter cable and it worked sorta okay the first couple of times I tried to go into forward and reverse. But now it just makes a gut wrenching whining grinding noise and then the engine conks out. Patty Timbuktu #461 1156775858.0
