Thanks very much for the quick replies gentlemen. As you can see by my post
(sent at around 3 a.m.) I could not sleep thinking about this issue. I will
however take a closer look at the knees as George suggested ensuring that
there is no rot and that everything is fully bonded. I did pay a lot of
attention to that area last year so I am quite confident that I did not miss
anything (I can hear the collective hmmm). Incidentally, I have some
pictures (who doesn't) that I can send to you George to consider for posting
if you feel they have some value to the group. You can contact me offline at
