        Hello all,

George Dinwiddie, the Web Master for the Alberg 30 site has graciously offered to help me with this project by producing a photo gallery on the Alberg 30 web site. Seafarer folks......if you haven't visited the Alberg 30 web site you are in for a real treat, George has it chocked full of wonderful information.

Anyway, I am trying to help out the owner of this boat. He has finished the bottom, top sides and first coat on the deck. The workmanship is good, but a move forces him to sell @ $1,500.00.

All deck hardware is cast aluminum, so that might help date the boat. I have searched the web and this boat is not a Coronado, Columbia, Cal, Contessa, or a
Sea Sprite. The owner thinks it might be a very early Catalina, but I don't believe that Catalina ever used Mahogany plywood for it's decks and coach. My latest guess is Bristol. I saw an ad for a Bristol 27 Weekender but in the photo could not see the cockpit layout. As you can see from the photos the coach is hard edged and has quite a crown to it.

All the interior has been stripped out and the rest of the boat is a project. Owner has all the pieces as the boat was complete when he dissembled her.

My only interest is to help the current owner find a new home for all of his hard work on the boat so far. The spars are aluminum and the boom has geared roller furling at the goose-neck with mainsheet attachment at the end of boom.

Many thanks for your help and have fun trying to solve this puzzle.
