[Public-list] Removal of brass temperature sensor

The bayonet connector on the heat sensor in my MG's engine was always
falling off...so one day I decided to solder it on...then I wondered why the
temp gauge seemed to no longer work.  That night while going to sleep I
realized that applying a lot of heat to a heat sensor might not have been a
good idea...
