I will check to be sure, but I didn't see a filter
anywhere. It may be clogged at the base of the pump
or somewhere along the line. There are many little
flakes of greenish brown stuff in the water that I
think are dried slime that coated the inside of the
hose and dried into flakes during years of not being
used.

I plan to replace the line from tank to sink. It had
clear vinyl hose (single ply not reinforced). Is that
adequate or should I use something better?

What kind of filter do you use? Is it a "Home Depot"
type thing? One of the little disposable ones that
look like a caulking tube and are used for icemakers
maybe? (too much restriction?) Or a bigger one that
you can change cartridges in?
