[Public-list] gps questions

I was "given" a copy of Capn Voyager and it came with a set of scanned real 
charts of Vancouver Island. Works like a damn. The thing I like is the 
actual charts which I trust more than private company charts. No idea where 
they came from. Probably Coastguard. I use a handheld Garmin with my Desk 
computer for inputting waypoints. When I get a laptop I will take it aboard 
and use it there. NOTHING, however will replace a chart and instruments!
