[Public-list] Hull ID Number

This very well may not apply, but if there are any numbers carved into
or permanently affixed to a structural part of the boat (e.g. the deck
beam under the mast on our boat), the boat may have been USCG documented
at some point in the past, and the hull number would probably be on file
with the Coast Guard.

I am trying to get my Coast Guard registration --
The last thread on this was great but I don't know month made--
There is an ID number on the title  369273(State) --- Marisel is a
1969--
#385 which is on the main is what I have always gone by--

So it could be march 1969 but would that mean it could be hull 273 vs
385?
Also there was a lot of Canadian gear and things on the boat ---from
stickers like "Ontario Hardware 3.95"
The plate under the main hatch is gone and I haven't found any other
numbers
on the hull (where to look?)--
I don't care just want to get it right for the Coast Guard and I have
grown
accustomed to #385 --- don't want to be sailing back from Bahamas and
have
homeland security think something is up if another number is found on
the
hull somewhere--
Any suggestions?
