[Public-list] Hull ID Number

One  requirement for Canadian registration (different from licensing)  is to have the hull number affixed to the boat's structural parts as well. On my boat it has been stamped into the ridge in front of the motor. This was done with a metal stamp kit and is very faint.
    It is my understanding that hull numbers on the transom were not required until 1971 or '72.
