Hi Rob,

Gee, we have "triplets" here between you with 219, Michael with 220, 
and me with 221.  That's kind of neat.  I'd be happy to send photos of 
mine in to someone.  I don't think what I'm seeing as an outline of 
"straps" could be wood, but you never know.  I may have to investigate 
to satisfy my curiosity.  I don't like systems that I can't take a look 
at.

Do you know the history of your boat?  Mine was delivered to the 
original owner in Michigan in winter (Jan/Feb) of 1967, then 
"commissioned" by the owner in May 1967.
