Hello Roger - 

Re the last part - yes, I think that is 'the law'.  We sent our elder son
away to College this month; the first to go away from home.  I glance in his
room every time I walk past and miss him.

Makes me think about my poor mother... When I went away to universty in '76
I was so excited and eager to go I hardly looked back.  My poor Mom.
