[Public-List] reef line diameter

We have a great arrangement. The topping lift (5/16" line) is fixed to the end of the boom. It goes through a small block at the top of the mast, then comes down the port side of the mast to a cleat. I tied a loop in the line at the appropriate boom height with the sail down and cleated the bitter end to the cleat. After hoisting the main, all you have to do is slip the loop of the cleat and your done. When taking down the main the first thing is to place the loop over the cleat and lower the main. Very easy, no lowering the boom on someone's head.
