John,

David Van Ness of Van Ness Engineering is in Jersey is the Gray Marine
guy.  He has everything you could want (I understand he purchased the
Gray Marine stock of parts after they went out of business, and then
purchased the Disney stock of spare parts (they used Grays in the tour
boats, it's a small world, pirates of the Caribbean, etc.) and can build
a brand new Gray Marine if you wanted it).  He is also very nice and
very helpful.  We are finishing up a rebuild of our Gray using a lightly
used long block we got from Van Ness.  The Grey is a great motor, very
easy to work on yourself.  Send me a note off the list if you have any
questions about the motor.
