I replaced the windows in the doghouse of #314 with a medium tint Lexan and am very happy. The boat has seen quite a bit of action since the replacement and they are still beautiful with no scratches or spider webs. The dark tint gives a very sexy look to the boat and provides some privacy while at dock or moored. I can send pictures if you would like. I made a new forward hatch with a teak wood frame and tinted Lexan which looks great. The piece of Lexan on the forward hatch has scratched a little from misplacement of the bow of my Dink when I was to lazy to properly protect it with a towel during passages under power. But for the abuse it has received from a fiberglass dink occasionally grinding on it, there are a few scratches, that only I seem to notice. My ports in the foc'sle are all original jobbies that are still going strong. I have not monkyed with them and include them in my prayers.

Happy fourth of July to everyone. God bless America and our troops.
