[Public-List] Jib Tracks

You mean people actually sheet sails to these things? We haven't used
ours since we bought the boat, we continue to carry a genoa in fairly
heavy air. They weren't even mounted on the boat when we purchased it
(there was roller furling). I only fixed them up to have just in case
we ever saw a 'real' blow.

I suppose the other alternative that no one has noted, which I would
probably do if I thought I were going to use them more than once in a
blue moon, would be to purchase new tracks that don't require the
spacers, if you're lucky the bolt holes will match up. I might still
want to mount them on a pad to protect the deck though. Would you use
teak or delrin for the pad?
