George said "Delrin is a DuPont trade name for an acetyl plastic (http://plastics.dupont.com/myplastics/Mediator?id=30). King plastics
is coy about what sort of polymer is used for StarBoard (http://www.kingstarboard.com/products/StarBoard.aspx), but I believe
it's probably a high density polyethylene. "

You might want to try and get a piece long enough to cut both spacers out at full length. Then using the track as a guide drill one hole and bend to the curve, drill the next hole and so forth. Use the car to keep alignment and put a bolt through each hole as you do it. This way there are no gaps and potential hang up points.
