[Public-List] Spin Pole Height

We are rigging an Alberg 30 with a spinnaker.  It does not have anything
for the spinnaker set up right now.  I see that some boats use a track,
while others use a D-ring for the pole to attach to the mast.  I am
inclined at this point to put a D-ring.  Has anyone else do this
recently?  Can those of you flying a spinnaker tell me what height would
be best for the d-ring?  Are those with tracks really playing the track
while flying the spinnaker?
