Hi Gord, 

I believe that most of us on the Alberg list feel like Touch Wood is part of the family.  Certainly Geroge has given you the OK to discuss her on this list and I for one feel my heart strings pulling each time you give us an update on her journey.  I suspect that you and family will almost faint from joy when you eventually relaunch her after restoration.  Please keep us posted.

Hello friends, 

Another chapter in the saga of my old Folkboat TOUCH WOOD is beginning   
- she is finally tee'd up for the last leg of her journey home.  For   
the past year she has waited in Massachusetts awaiting my next move; I   
cleaned out the accumulated filth and tore away an abortive deck and   
cabin replacement job.  I removed both her garboards to facilitate her   
drying out and there she sat. 

By this time next week she will be here on a friend's property and I   
will be able to begin her restoration in earnest.   I have to say that   
the excitement I felt as I sent the down payment away by FedEx   
yesterday surprised me a little. I have a mountain of work ahead of me   
but am eager to start. 

Peter Milley, thanks again for introducing me to John Richards the   
yacht transporter.   He will be taking TW home. 

If anybody is curious about pictures let me know and I will send them   
off-list.
