[Public-List] Public Laundry

The Officers are reading every line! I brought the issue up at the Seminar on Saturday and got good opinions and discussion going. My intent is to have the Rules Committee informed not simply by their own logic and good judgment, but also by the tenor of the Alberg 30 Community. This list is part of that and I thank you all for expressing your opinions.

To all of you who own Alberg and don't belong to either the Great Lakes Alberg 30 Association or the Chesapeake Bay Alberg 30 Association, I urge you to consider membership. These associations do the work that have kept the A30 a vibrant one-design class for 45 years.

Regards,

Mike

Mike and others,

Well I don't know.  I think that the Public Laundry discourse is just another aspect of the value of this list in keeping the Alberg 30 Family vibrant and healthy.  If the Association Officers are reviewing the posts they will glean a good feel for the sentiment of the owners on a subject important to the class.  Unless the debate becomes contentious or goes on adnauseam; I believe  the open discussion of ideas is productive and helps to bind the class together.
