[Public-List] A4 alternators

If you dont have a load tester, or cant borrow one, most auto parts stores will test batteries for free. As they can be a PITA to lug around, I'd check to borrow a tester before removing them. I bet a local marina has one too.

A volt meter will determine alternator output, but you really need to know if the batteries are good.
