Gord and Michael,

I have not fully thought through attachment of the boom track.  I like the idea of strengthening what is already there.  Perhaps a threaded rod passing through both sides of the mast would work but its a bit hit an miss in lining up the threads.  I,m hoping to finish reinstalling mast fittings before the cold sets it.  Thanks for your thoughts.
